McGuinty mocks NDP over pay raise What McGuinty fails to understand is that poor people have neither the time nor the money to "munch popcorn and watch the political drama unfold." While Liberal and Tory MPPs enjoy a restful holiday season and "bonuses" bigger than the total incomes of many families, the NDP will be contributing to local charities, the working poor will be busting their butts to pay the rent, and aboriginal people in many parts of the province still will not have access to clean drinking water. I hope the voters of Ontario remember this charade when we have the chance to boot the Premier from office next October. Perhaps McGuinty will grab some popcorn and watch from the sidelines as voters elect the NDP, the only party that has taken a principled stand against the greed and arrogance of the Liberals and Tories.
