re. Islamic School for Women, Faithful or Fundamental?
So Farhat Hashmi believes 20,000 children died in the Pakistan earthquake because they were "were involved in immoral activities". That is possibly the most outrageous and appalling statement I have ever heard. If her students had any moral sense, or even a modicum of common sense, they would walk out in disgust at this inane bile.
To read that instead they "nod and murmur in agreement" made me wonder if, as an entrance requirement, they had to demonstrate a complete lack of independent thought. The next paragraph cleared that up. They are being taught "when to smile, cry, tell the truth, when to be angry".
I'm not sure who sets the worse example for Muslims in Canada: Hashmi or the women who listen to her.
